Areas of focus.

Life insurance planning

Compare protection for family income, mortgages and business responsibilities.

Term life insurance

Explore coverage for a defined period and an affordable premium commitment.

Indexed universal life

Understand flexible premiums, indexed crediting and ongoing policy costs.

Annuities and retirement income

Compare fixed, indexed and immediate options with their costs and limitations.

Start with the people who depend on you.

A useful life insurance conversation begins with obligations, not a product name. Income your family relies on, a mortgage, caregiving responsibilities and existing coverage all help shape how much protection to consider and for how long.

Sandra helps explain the differences between temporary and permanent coverage, including premiums, policy charges and cash value assumptions. An illustration is a planning tool, not a promise of future results. For IUL, an index-crediting floor does not eliminate policy costs or the risk of lapse.

For retirement income, annuities need a separate discussion about liquidity, surrender periods, fees and the insurer’s ability to meet its obligations. The goal is to understand the tradeoffs before deciding whether a contract fits your plans.

What to bring to the conversation.

  • Your goals for family protection or retirement income
  • Existing life policies, employer benefits and beneficiaries
  • A premium range you could maintain over time
  • Questions about access to funds, guarantees and policy illustrations

Questions worth asking.

Does Sandra work with families and business owners?
Her life insurance focus includes family protection as well as group life and key person insurance for businesses. Retirement income questions can also lead to a discussion of annuities.
Can I compare term life with permanent life insurance?
Yes. The review can compare the purpose, duration, premium commitment and limitations of each option. Permanent insurance has costs and funding requirements that should be understood before applying.
Do you offer health insurance or Medicare plans?
No. Insurance Steel Brokers does not offer individual or family health insurance, group health insurance or Medicare plans. Group life insurance is a separate life insurance product, not medical coverage.

Term vs. permanent life insurance

The useful comparison is not which product is universally better. It is which commitment fits the people you want to protect and the budget you can sustain.

How to read a life insurance illustration

An illustration is a set of assumptions, not a forecast. Start with the inputs, compare the guarantees and ask what could change.
